Associate Account Manager, Inside Sales Location: Kohler, WIThisposition is based in Kohler, WI, but we are open to remote candidates. OpportunityResponsible for sales targets assigned and ensure the success of sales associates within a defined region. Serves as the dealer's and distributor's first point of contact. Supports the Regional Director for territory management and distribution development and Manager - Inside Sales for day-to-day direction. Work closely with each Area and Regional Manager to coordinate sales efforts across targeted accounts and projects. Update and manage the sales forecast for all Kohler distributors in a given territory.Specific Responsibilities: Develop and distribute a comprehensive sales report to be for all distributors in assigned territory as directed by the Regional Manager.Serve as a back-up to Area Manager field sales team in assigned territory. Perform duties to help alleviate work that could be done in the office, so Area Manager can focus on proactive selling and dealer development activities.Ensure Kohler success through distribution business development efforts for a specified region by recommending and driving adoption of Kohler marketing campaigns, promotions, and tools. Meeting targets for quote volume, response time to quotes, hit rates across quotes and margin targets. Responsible for advancing the relationship between Kohler, distributor, and our dealers. Develop and execute market plans for a given territory. Identify gaps and corrective actions to targets. Maintain target account and target project files in support of the Regional Manager. Execute assigned activities to advance position in each target account and project. Update, manage, and improve the accuracy of the sales forecast for all Kohler dealers and distributors in a given territory. Update and maintain distribution scorecard and perform quarterly reviews to ensure both the distributor and Kohler take required actions to advance performance in the defined territory. Provide quotation support as well as coordinate product, technical and application assistance in support of distribution sales associates' business development efforts. Collaborate with Marketing to collect valuable market intelligence, provide lost job feedback, and develop marketing programs/promotions to support defined sales targets for a given territory.Skills/RequirementsBachelor's degree required (BSEE or BSME preferred).Candidate should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of sales or power experience.Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.Why Work at Kohler Co.?Kohler Co.'s mission is to contribute to a higher level of gracious living for those who are touched by our products and services.
